What is trust?
The word trust by definition is "a person on whom or thing on which one relies". Do you actually believe in the word trust, when someone tells you " I care about you baby and I can never let you go, trust me and give me your hand and I will never let you down." Don't you somehow feel afraid of commitment, of giving him your hand, don't you actually have like an inch of mistrust because of the things that life might give you. I hate it when someone tells me don't you trust me? What do you mean by the word trust? Trusting you as a friend, or trust you as being committed you, trusting you in a relationship, trusting you in business??.Okay business there is this trust agreement paper that?etween two or more parties, but are they always correct. Who didn't say that rules are not meant to be broken! They can and people ignore the fact of trust for a second just to reach what they want, thinking that the other party won't realize a thing, everything will move smoothly as if he/she didn't do a single thing of mistrust! I'm just trying to say that the word has no target!
For example one of my dearest best friends could tell me I trust you & I care about you, which is why I'm advising you to do such & such. Don't you trust me? Yeah okay relationship wise as being best friend, definitely I do trust you. Now when my best friend comes to me saying " I want to take our relationship to the next level"; which is the boyfriend & girlfriend relationship. There should be a little bit of thinking here, yes my best friend is a big flirt with girls, yes there are some defects in him , yes he makes fun of every ugly, obsessive girl who tries to flirt with him or just getting to know him. Although he flirts back to any girl no matter but in my mind he'll always the beautiful mind that I've always wanted to get committed to. Now the usual question that everyone asks me "Don't you trust me?" , Yes I do trust you, but when it comes you and relationship I would have to think really seriously and I guess my final answer would be yeah somehow :s . I'd be saying my answer when I'm thinking and I don't know the definite answer. When I'm hesitated between the two lines; either yes or no! Does the word trust here mean anything? Nope!
There was this old friend of mine who told me this statement" don't trust anyone". Ironically he was the first one who taught me how, he was the first one who I mistrust till this moment, and when he asked me this stupid question saying " Don't you trust me?" I wanted to tell him "Whatever", like most of his answers he gives to me when I ask him anything. I replied to him saying "yeah" while I myself wasn't saying the truth, I said yes just not to open an argument, or negotiation in whatever subject. I just didn't want to ruin the day.
Basically saying that the word trust is a vague word with no target or aim and it is also taken differently from each person's point of view and perspective. My perception could be understood different that yours, because our topologies or communication, thoughts and thinking are different from one person to another.
"Thank you Mr. Old Friend of teaching me a valuable statement! Although I don't trust you till this moment!"
